John Jockgrim had it made. He was young, educated athletic, white male, and an up and coming lawyer, in a prestigious law firm. he was an accepted member in 'the old boys club'. His dad was a loving father, and family man. He was the powerful, and arrogant head of the hospital's famous Brain Transplant Project. When his children arrived at the hospital from a car accident, Dr. Jockgrim decided he must act. His daughter was brain dead, and John was dying. He brushed aside all opposition, and ordered his team to put John's brain in his sister's body. John awoke from coma months later feeling weak and feeble. Not only that, much smaller, and female. John refused to deal with all the cultural issues that came along with being female, so she isolated herself from most people she knew. Instead concentrated on whipping her weak female body into shape with her tough male mind. John was quickly humbled. The pain and fatigue of her wasted, emaciated body endured in physical therapy, was far more difficult then trying to get the strong, healthy male body in shape for football season. When she left her self imposed isolation to return to the law firm, she found she is unwanted, and was forced to resign. With no job, and no goals, John decided she could not delay her transformation any longer. She changed her name to Joan, then tried to learn how to dress and act like a lady. Joan had to fight off sexist thoughts, that ridicule her efforts. Joan could have it all, a career, love, marriage, and children. If only she could learn not to be repulsed at the though of a guy caressing her body.

Very interesting premise, of a brain transplant of a man;s brain to a woman's body. But the storyline is totally ruined by what seems to be an author that is too lazy to actually proofread their work. So many wrong words used like "patents for patients", or "lesion for lesson", as well as numerous mispelled words, grammar errors, missing words, etc. that make it difficult to read the story. The author should seriously consider getting a strong editor to proofread their work since they evidently are unable to do so.Product details

UnFeminine edition by James P Katus Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was a very good read. Not a typical feminization type book, in any way. Very well written and held my attention from page one. One of the first books that I could use my kindle unlimited...free...don't you just love ? I do, I can't stop reading. Especially great books like this. The first rater does an excellent job describing the book so I won't give the story away. This story was excellent and like I said, very well written and you just had to love Joan and Bob. My thanks to the author for a story that I loved. az
"Unfeminine" by James P. Katus is a wonderful book that covers a broad spectrum of subjects from gender change to the ethics of transplants to the magnificence of love. John, our hero and eventually our heroine, is a real man's man. He's the kind of guy who's at the top of his game in all he attempts. He's a top notch lawyer and a former football star. He's also a bit of a chauvinist with an angry temper to boot. Through the miracle of science his brain is transplanted into the body of his sister who has the misfortune of perishing in the same accident that renders his body unusable. This story is partially about the difficult and agonizing adjustment of a man to adopt a female gender role. However, another huge part of the story is about the ethical decision to transplant his brain to his sister's body at the expense of another person who sadly and suddenly becomes an eligible candidate. This story is beautifully written and intricately woven as it moves to an exciting and brilliant conclusion.
